Stéphane Dubé
Born in 1959 in Versailles to an American father and a French mother, Stéphane Dubé studied as a Polish government's scholarship student at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1979-1981. With Japanese government's scholarship he studied at Kyoto University of Arts in 1989-1991. Five years spent in Ireland (2018-2023) opened a new horizon in his development. He now lives and works between Japan and Ireland.
Exhibitions in Warsaw, Paris, Kyoto, Venice (Nov. 2015-Jan. 2016) and online shows after 2021. Affordable Art Fair Hamburg (Nov. 2025).
His first museum solo show “Dragonfly and other insects” is on view at the National Museum of Oriental Art in Venice from 8 May to 30 August 2026.
