Sachiko Natsume
In her former life, Sachiko Natsume was a researcher, academic and writer.
After having done a PhD at Kyoto University (1997) and Université Paris IV-Sorbonne (2000), Sachiko Natsume published in France writings about Francis Bacon and Alberto Giacometti. Her two books about Giacometti and his Japanese model Yanaihara (l’Echoppe, 2003 & 2007) were translated into Spanish and Italien.
She had tenure at Osaka University of Foreign Studies from 1996 to 2006. During this period, she also taught at Institut franco-japonais de Kyoto.
Along with teaching, she published an essay as well as numerous translations, including a biography about Francis Bacon.
